Complete Count Census Committee

The 2010 Census is very important to the West Hartford community!  We need to be sure that everyone is counted in our town to ensure that we get proper funding for services in the future.  WHIRED Board member Marcia Lewis is heading up the effort to reach out to all language groups and cultures within West Hartford to explain the benefits of returning the census form and that there is no risk to any household.  No questions are asked regarding immigration status, no questions on taxes or income, no information on the census form is shared with any other agency.  EVERYONE COUNTS!

Participating in 3 Kings Parade in Hartford were West Hartford Complete Count members Marcia Lewis (3rd from left), Haydee Hodis (far right) and Dawn Manogue.
